BNT Cattle Co is a stud and commercial beef cattle enterprise owned and managed by the Hession family. 

 

Our beautiful base property is located approximately 28km south of Beaudesert in Queensland.  Our focus is on the welfare of our animals and through careful planning and the application of contemporary stock management practices we proudly produce quality and importantly, healthy cattle all year round.

Our enterprise initially commenced with the Wyangarie Santa Gertudis stud herd in 1988.  Through selective breeding from quality foundation females we have maintained the family’s reputation for producing some of the finest Santa Gertrudis cattle to be found in the country.  As a result, our Santa Gertrudis cattle continue to excel in the show rings and sale yards.

In 2015, we fulfilled a long-held interest in the Droughtmaster breed and carefully selected Droughtmaster breeding females from quality bloodlines.  These females became the foundation of our family operated BNT Droughtmaster cattle stud.  Drawing on generations of experience in breeding quality beef cattle, we have achieved and maintained the same high standards in this venture.
